Welcome!

Fluid mechanics and non-linear physics.

I am a physicist interested by fundamental considerations in non-linear physics and out of equilibrium systems. I work mainly on fluid mechanics problems related to environmental and natural situations at different scales (waves, turbulence, erosion, geomorphology). I am also interested by granular gas as model systems to study out-of-equilibrium statistical physics.

About me

I am a CNRS researcher working at the laboratory MSC (Matter and Complex Systems) at the University Paris Diderot since 2010. In 2020 the University Paris Diderot merged with University Paris Descartes to become the Université Paris Cité.

I recently defended my habilitation thesis in December 2020: ‘‘Wave interactions and wave turbulence in presence of dissipation”.

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Clark University, MA, USA in the group of Arshad Kudrolli, Complex Matter and Nonlinear Physics Laboratory. I defended a PhD in Physics at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in 2008 about “Turbulent Magnetohydrodynamics in liquid metals” under the guidance of Professor Stéphan Fauve and Professor Nicolas Mordant. I hold a Master degree in Physics from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (2005).

Current research interests:
