Eric Falcon, winner of the Joannidès Prize CNRS Senior Scientist, laboratory Matter and Complex Systems (MSC) "Éric Falcon studies wave turbulence, solitons, granular media and hydrodynamic turbulence, through a variety of experiments: in the laboratory, in weightlessness and in large wave basins. In particular, he has highlighted new phenomena emerging from a set of random waves, in nonlinear interaction, for a better understanding of ocean surface waves, hydroelastic waves in geophysics, or magnetohydrodynamic waves in astrophysical plasmas."
