Adrian Daerr
Welcome on my professional web pages. I am professor at the Complex Matter and Systems lab (University and CNRS Research Unit UMR 7057) at the Physics department of the university , which means I both do research and teach courses for our students.
Note that not all pages are available in English, so do not be surprised if you find yourself on a french page all of a sudden ;-). A language selector is shown at the top when other languages are available.

Research & Teaching
My research focusses on fluid dynamics (in particular wetting) and the dynamics of complex systems. I am an experimental physicist. See the pages on my research activities to learn more about the kind of experiments I am doing and the questions I try to answer, or jump right to the list of publications for the results.
Of course I teach my specialty, hydrodynamics. I do also teach, or have taught in the past, subjects such as numerical methods for physicists or signal processing which correspond to tools I use in my research more than being primary research topics of mine. You can find out more in the teaching pages, where I also put all the supporting documents for my courses.
